Starting from Tumlingtar, the journey ascends through terraced fields, dense forests, and traditional villages inhabited by diverse ethnic groups. The trail offers panoramic views of the Himalayas, including Everest and Makalu, and traverses the Salpa Pass, leading to the sacred Salpa Lake.

As you progress, the landscape transforms, revealing the unique biodiversity of the Makalu-Barun and Sagarmatha National Parks. The trek culminates in Lukla, providing a comprehensive experience of Nepal's eastern Himalayan region.


Day to Day Itinerary

Expand All

Arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to your hotel. Free time to relax or explore the city.

Early morning flight to Tumlingtar followed by a short trek through lush landscapes to Kartike.

Walk along forested trails and terraced fields to reach the traditional village of Gothe Bazaar.

Continue your journey through mixed vegetation and ascend to the beautiful Salpa Phedi.

Pass through rhododendron forests as you gradually climb to Guranse, with Himalayan views en route.

Trek to Salpa Pass, the highest point of the trek, then descend to the Sherpa village of Sanam.

Trek downhill through bamboo and pine forests to reach the large Rai village of Gudel.

Walk along the Arun River and ascend to Bung, a culturally rich village inhabited by Rais and Sherpas.

Ascend further into the hills, enjoying scenic landscapes and remote settlements.

Continue through isolated trails with panoramic mountain views toward Puiyan.

Final day of trekking through lush forests and hills to reach Lukla, gateway to Everest.

Take a scenic mountain flight back to Kathmandu and transfer to your hotel.
