Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu – Welcome to Nepal!
Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), a friendly representative from Unique Adventure International will be waiting to greet you with a signboard for easy identification. You'll then be whisked away to your hotel, where you can settle in and unwind after your journey. The afternoon is yours to explore or relax, depending on how you're feeling. In the evening, we’ll treat you to a delightful dinner at a traditional Nepalese restaurant, where you'll enjoy a cultural performance that highlights the vibrant heritage of Nepal. Overnight at your hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 02: Explore the Wonders of Kathmandu Valley
Prepare for a day of cultural immersion! After breakfast, we'll embark on a guided sightseeing tour around Kathmandu Valley, visiting the famous Durbar Squares of Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, and Patan. Each of these ancient squares has a distinct charm, filled with temples, palaces, and statues that tell stories of Nepal’s rich history. We’ll also visit the massive Bauddhanath Stupa, a major pilgrimage site for Buddhists. No trip to Kathmandu is complete without a visit to the iconic Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple), which offers breathtaking views of the valley. Finally, we’ll pay our respects at the sacred Hindu temple of Pashupatinath, located on the banks of the Bagmati River. After an enriching day, we return to the hotel for some rest. Day 03: Drive to Pokhara – Gateway to the Himalayas
After an early breakfast, we’ll depart for Royal Trek Pokhara, either by tourist bus or private vehicle, depending on the group size. The scenic drive takes about six hours, offering incredible views of the rivers and landscapes along the way. Once in the Royal trek Pokhara Nepal, you'll check into your hotel and have the rest of the afternoon to explore the city. The peaceful lakeside area is perfect for a stroll, or you can rent a boat and glide across the serene waters of Fewa Lake. Overnight at a hotel in Pokhara.
Day 04: Drive to Thunsikot via Bijayapur Khola – Begin Your Trek
This is where the adventure truly begins! After breakfast, we’ll take a short drive to Bijayapur Khola, the starting point of our trek. We begin with a leisurely walk through lush paddy fields before crossing a river and ascending towards Kalikasthan. Along the way, you'll be treated to glimpses of rural life in Nepal, with friendly locals and beautiful landscapes. After reaching Kalikasthan, we’ll drive to Thunsikot, where you’ll spend the night in a cozy homestay, experiencing the warm hospitality of the locals.
Day 05: Trek to Sagulung – A Day of Scenic Beauty
Today’s trek takes us through charming villages and along a ridgeline that offers stunning views of Lamjung Himal and the Annapurna range. You’ll have the opportunity to explore the local communities and walk through vibrant rhododendron forests. The landscape is rich and diverse, providing a peaceful backdrop for your journey. Tonight, we will stay in another welcoming homestay in Sagulung.
Day 06: Trek to Chisapani – Stunning Mountain Views Await
Our path today leads through Gurung villages, giving you a glimpse into the traditional lifestyle of this famous ethnic group. As you hike, you’ll be surrounded by forested trails dotted with rhododendrons and Sal trees. After an initial descent of 400 meters, we ascend 600 meters to reach Chisapani. This is one of the best vantage points on the trek, offering panoramic views of the Himalayas, including Dhaulagiri to the west of Annapurna. Overnight in a homestay at Chisapani.
Day 07: Trek to Begnas Lake – A Tranquil End to the Trek
Today’s trek takes us downhill towards the peaceful Rupa Lake, and then we ascend to Sundare Danda before reaching our destination, Begnas Tal. The tranquility of this lake, surrounded by hills and forests, makes it a perfect spot to reflect on the journey so far. You can even enjoy a relaxing boat ride on the lake. We camp overnight by the lakeside, enjoying the serenity and beauty of the natural surroundings.
Day 08: Return to Pokhara – Time to Unwind
We’ll take a short, scenic drive back to Pokhara today, following a well-trodden path used by locals. Upon reaching Pokhara, you'll have the rest of the day to relax or continue exploring the lakeside area. If you’re in the mood, this could be a great time to visit some of Pokhara’s attractions, such as the International Mountain Museum or the Tibetan refugee camp. Overnight at a hotel in Pokhara.
Day 09: Explore Pokhara Valley – Sarangkot Sunrise and More
An early morning drive takes us to Sarangkot for an unforgettable sunrise view over the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. As the sun rises, the peaks light up in brilliant hues, creating a picture-perfect moment. Afterward, we’ll visit some of Pokhara’s famous spots, including the stunning Davis Falls, Mahendra Cave, and the mysterious Bat Cave. The rest of the day is yours to enjoy at your own pace. Overnight in Pokhara.
Day 10: Drive Back to Kathmandu – Farewell to the Mountains
We say goodbye to Pokhara and head back to Kathmandu today, enjoying one last glimpse of the countryside along the way. After arriving in Kathmandu, you’ll have the rest of the day free to relax or explore. Whether you choose to do some last-minute souvenir shopping or simply unwind, it’s the perfect way to end your trip. Overnight at a hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 11: Free Day in Kathmandu – Explore or Relax
Today is a free day for you to do as you please. If there are any sites you missed earlier in your trip, now is the time to visit them. Alternatively, you can indulge in some shopping or take the day to relax before your departure. Overnight at a hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 12: Departure – Farewell, Until Next Time
Your journey comes to an end today. A representative from Unique Adventure International will transfer you to the airport for your flight home. As you leave Nepal, you’ll take with you memories of stunning landscapes, warm hospitality, and incredible experiences. We hope to see you again for another adventure!
