Day 01: Drive from Kathmandu to Dhunche (2,030m, 6-7 hours)
After an early breakfast, drive 6-7 hours from Kathmandu to Dhunche, the trek’s starting point in the Langtang region. The scenic journey passes the Trishuli River, terraced fields, and villages, with glimpses of snowy Himalayan peaks. Arrive in Dhunche, a small town with basic facilities, and check into a guesthouse. Overnight at a guesthouse.

Day 02: Trek from Dhunche to Chandanbari (Sing Gompa, 3,330m, 5-6 hours)
Trek 5-6 hours from Dhunche to Chandanbari (Sing Gompa), ascending through lush pine and rhododendron forests in Langtang National Park. Cross the Trishuli River and pass Tamang villages, observing local lifestyles. Arrive at Sing Gompa, home to a Buddhist monastery and a yak cheese factory, which you may explore if time allows. Overnight at a guesthouse.

Day 03: Trek from Chandanbari to Gosainkunda (4,460m, 6-7 hours)
Trek 6-7 hours from Chandanbari to Gosainkunda Lake, climbing steadily to Chalang Pati (3,650m) with views of Langtang Lirung and rhododendron-filled forests. Ascend to Laurebina Yak, passing a Sakyamuni stupa and scenic Saraswati Kunda and Bhairav Kunda lakes. Reach Gosainkunda, a sacred Hindu and Buddhist site surrounded by 108 lakes, believed to be formed by Lord Shiva’s trident. Overnight at a guesthouse.

Day 04: Trek from Gosainkunda to Chandanbari (3,330m, 5-6 hours)
Trek 5-6 hours back to Chandanbari, descending from Gosainkunda via Laurebina Yak. Enjoy magnificent mountain views and revisit the serene forests and Tamang settlements. Arrive at Sing Gompa, with an option to relax or revisit the cheese factory. Overnight at a guesthouse.

Day 05: Trek from Chandanbari to Dhunche (2,030m, 4-5 hours) and Drive to Kathmandu (1,360m, 6-7 hours)
Trek 4-5 hours from Chandanbari to Dhunche, descending through forests and villages. After reaching Dhunche, drive 6-7 hours back to Kathmandu, enjoying views of terraces, hills, and the Trishuli River. Check into a Thamel hotel to relax and reflect on the trek. Overnight at a hotel.
