The film showed the daily activities of people living in Dolpo region including the Salt Trade route. Unique Adventure International created this itinerary with view to incorporate all aspects of Dolpo region in Upper Dolpo Trek package. Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu

Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, you'll be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel.

Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu

Explore the UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Kathmandu, including Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple), Boudhanath Stupa, and Pashupatinath Temple.

Day 03: Fly to Nepalgunj

Take a scenic flight to Nepalgunj, a city in the western Terai region of Nepal.

Day 04: Fly to Juphal (2,320m) and trek to Dunai (2,850m)

Fly to Juphal and begin your trek to Dunai, the administrative center of Dolpo district.

Day 05: Trek to Ankhe (2,660m)

Trek through terraced fields and along the Bheri River to reach Ankhe.

Day 06: Trek to Renje (3,104m)

Continue through forests and along the riverbank to the village of Renje.

Day 07: Trek to Ringmo (3,600m)

Ascend to Ringmo, a picturesque village near the stunning Phoksundo Lake.

Day 08: Rest day at Ringmo for acclimatization

Explore the area around Phoksundo Lake and visit the nearby monastery.

Day 09: Trek to Phoksundo Khola (3,507m)

Trek along the western bank of Phoksundo Lake to reach Phoksundo Khola.

Day 10: Trek to Phoksundo Bhanjyang (4,402m)

Climb through a glacial valley to reach Phoksundo Bhanjyang.

Day 11: Cross Kang La Pass (5,360m) and trek to Shey Gompa (4,500m)

Cross the challenging Kang La Pass and descend to Shey Gompa, an ancient monastery.

Day 12: Rest day at Shey Gompa

Day 13: Trek to Namduna Gaun (4,800m)

Trek through juniper forests and descend to Namduna Gaun, home to the red stone monastery.

Day 14: Trek to Saldang (3,903m)

Day 15: Trek to Yangze Gompa (4,960m)

Visit ancient monasteries and experience the unique lifestyle of the region.

Day 16: Trek to Sibu (4,560m)

Descend through terraced fields and along the Nam Khong River to Sibu.

Day 17: Trek to Jeng La Phedi (4,900m)

Trek to the base of Jeng La Pass, preparing for the next day's ascent.

Day 18: Cross Jeng La Pass (5,090m) and trek to Tokyu Gaon (4,200m)

Cross the pass and descend to Tokyu Gaon, a beautiful village with a monastery.

Day 19: Trek to Dho Tarap (4,090m)

Day 20: Rest day at Dho Tarap

Explore the village, interact with locals, and learn about their traditions.

Day 21: Trek to Tarap Khola (3,800m)

Descend through the gorge of the Tarap River, enjoying the changing landscapes.

Day 22: Trek to Khanigaon (3,150m)

Continue along the river, passing through remote settlements to reach Khanigaon.

Day 23: Trek to Tarakot (2,537m)

Trek to Tarakot, a village with historical significance and a fortress.

Day 24: Trek to Dunai (2,850m)

Follow the trail along the Bheri River back to Dunai.
